STEP 1: STOP BY OUR SHOWROOM

The first thing that we would recommend to all of our clients is to stop by our showroom located at 385 Radford Street in Christiansburg. There, one of our educated showroom staff members will be able to discuss your project, learn about your needs and make recommendations on products. When you stop by, you will notice that we ask lots of questions about your lifestyle like if you have kids, wear heals, have pets, etc. These questions tell us a lot about how the floors will be used and allow us to make sure that the products we recommend will suit your lifestyle, decor and budget.

STEP 2: THE MEASURE

After you have met with one of our sales staff and we have narrowed it down to a few products, we will set up a free in-home measure. For us, the measure is more than just obtaining room dimensions. While at your home, we will be looking for anything that could become a concern during the installation such as damaged subfloor, transitions between rooms, etc. 

FOLLOWING THE INSTALLATION

After the installation has been completed, one of our staff members will contact you to go over the installation, answer any questions and go over any additional care instructions for your new floors. 

STEP 4: THE INSTALLATION

The installation date will depend on the availability of the materials and how far out we are scheduling. For laminate and hardwood products, we will have to schedule a delivery prior to installation to allow for acclimation. While preparing for the installation, we do ask for you to move all antiques, jewelry, electronics, and anything less than an arm-load (shoes, clothes, books, etc.). Unless otherwise discussed, we will take care of the large items. We will contact you typically a day or so prior to installation to confirm you are ready and answer an additional questions you may have. As with any kind of renovation, there is a chance that surprises can be found when we begin removing the old floors. If this happens, we will discuss solutions with you before proceeding with the installation. 

STEP 3: THE ESTIMATE

Once one of our estimators has been out to do a measure and products have been selected, we will prepare a completely turn-key estimate. Our estimates are itemized so that you can see everything that will be done while we are at your home. By doing it this way, you also have the option to pick and choose which items you would like us to do in case you would like to try to complete parts on your own. Our estimators can then walk your step-by-step on how the installation will work. Once you have approved your estimate and placed your deposit, your installation will be scheduled.
